I love Sasa because there are so many interesting beauty products i cannot resist not to buy. hehehe Most of their products are of good quality from Japan and Taiwan. Here are my latest buy... :)

Guess what are these cute little puffs for?

To curl hair the easy way! :) Recommended by Sweetpepperlove. This is roughly how you do it. These soft foam rollers are easy on hair and also comfortable to sleep on since its soft.

Liese Juicy Shower. A mixed berry hydrating mist for the hair. I can say byebye to dry hair now. RM32. Free coin purse.

False lashes at RM 17.90 each. Usual price RM 22

Stick Concealer! RM 42.90

Measuring tape, F.O.C

Eye Mask. RM 4.90 for 3 pairs.

This is very useful and only RM 9.90 for 2 pcs.

To put up your annoying long fringe when applying make up. Comes in three different colors (Pink, Baby Blue & Black).

Noticed my new hair colour? Need to redo it cause am not very happy with the outcome.

The Magnificent White Temple and More

This is gonna be a long post with loads of pictures. I sacrificed my lunch just to get this done! If you dont have much time, come back another time :)

Wat Rong Khun or better known as the White Temple is a living work or Art! Located half an hour from Chiang Rai city, this beauty was built in 1997 and till today, it is still under construction. White is to symbolise Buddha's purity.

Basically everything is white. Even the fishes are pure white. I've not seen pure white fishes!

A Hibiscus

JT very impressed :)

Actually there's meaning to every single detail of this temple, in order to reach Heaven, you'll have to go through Hell.

But before you enter Heaven, you'll have to say Hi to this big guy first.

They say the White temple is also known as Heaven on Earth.

The mural in the temple is very interesting. Unfortunately, we werent allowed to snap any photos. Anyway, it has a combination of traditional Buddhist motifs with modern theme such as images of the Matrix, Space Ships, handphones, sept 11 Twin towers etc.

This is Chaloemchai Khositphipat, the man who designed and built the White temple (Not the real person of course!). He creatively brought traditional Buddhist art into the contemporary world.

Our day trip also includes a visit to the Hill Tribe village & the Golden Triangle.
JT with a very pretty looking long necked girl.

This girl so cute!

This is where they live.

The Golden Triangle. The border of Myanmar, Thailand & Laos.

The long boat we took to tour around the Triangle.

Enjoying the cruise along the Mekong River.

Stepped into Laos.

And found this very interesting stuff. Fancy any snake or scorpion Whisky anyone??

I'd rather be safe and go for beers instead! :)

The Northern Most of Thailand, Mae Sai.

Now back to Chiang Mai, this is our mode of transportation. We depend on Maps to get around. Hehehe
We saw and went to more places on our rented bike.

at the park with so many fearless pigeons

Soaking feet in warm water before my 2 hour body scrub and massage! 500 baht only. I need one now!!

After massage, we were given half a mango each and of course water for Free.

We never miss out on street food whenever in Thailand.

Us going round looking for interesting food & places. I was forced by JT to wear that awful looking helmet! yucks

Shopping at Nimmanhaeminda Road.

One of the morning having breakfast at our hotel.

One of the best pork ribs JT has ever had @ Sizzler Restaurant.

This is the entrance to the Sunday Night Market. It is so freaking big its like Chatuchak in BKK. It operates only on Sunday nights. You should not miss this one.

Simply because there are so much to see and buy!
ok this is taking too much of my time.. i need to catch up on my tv series before i get my hair a new colour at the salon later. Hope you enjoyed my final post on Chiang Mai/Rai :)
Will be back with updates on new hair.

Doi Suthep & Panda, Chiang Mai

Our first stop was Wat Phrathat located at Doi Suthep. It was summer then so the weather was quite uncomfortably hot. According to our guide, the best time to visit Chiang Mai is during Winter which falls in Dec and Jan where temperature can drop to as low as 15 degress celcius. Hotel rates will definitely be at its peak during that period.

Me about to take the 309 steps to the Wat (temple). It was surely good exercise for JT & I. hehe

Oh, when in Chiang Mai, you'll find that your surroundings are very Serene and Green. Trees are everywhere and it feels really good ya know.

We reached the top and thats the Pagoda behind us. Visitors must be properly dressed so am wrapped in a sarong here :)

Some renovation going on i think.

View from the top. Over looking Chiang Mai town from Doi Suthep.

I did alot of research on places to visit and one of it is the Zoo. We paid 200 baht each just to see Panda bears! hehe

I look very shocked here because this cutie little panda bear came so close and even posed for our camera. So cute!!

The Pandas in Chiang Mai Zoo are so active and they walk about so much even i feel tired for them. I really did enjoy myself like a little curious kid in the Zoo :)

Dinner in our room. It was my birthday but unfortunately we could not go out for dinner and drinks because of the curfew and havoc in Thailand. Thanks to the Reds shirt supporters. Hmmph.
More coming soon... :)
