A much needed break

Its been a while since JT and I went on a holiday! Due to "some" stress at work and all that crap, i feel i needed to take some time off away from KL and i didnt mind if its just a short weekend break to Port Dickson! :D

So off to Avillion Admiral Cove PD we went!

The weather was perfect when we arrived!

Part of the lobby.

Our superior room. Quite spacious

No King Bed during our visit so JT and i slept separately. Haha no la..that would not happen lar. Obviously we combined it to make it one!

Toilet, duh

This is the view from the balcony of our room.
We took a walk around the hotel and found this:

Yachts, how sexy!

Wow Private Beach. Sounds so exclusive right?? To my horror, this is Avillion's beach:

No thanks! I dont wanna soak in this muddy looking sea water!
:/
We found that some other part of PD has better beaches.
So we ended up swimming in the infinity pool.

Art Gallery within the hotel.

The hotel at night.

We had dinner here.

Steamed red snapper, Chew Chau style. Our favourite becuz its sour and salty.

Kam Heong style crabs.

Kangkung belacan.

Total bill was RM 83.
The next day, we went back to the same restaurant to try their famous Chicken Curry Bun.

This is how it looks like! I recommend you guys to try this. Very tasty chicken curry and soft fluffy buns (RM20)

Steamboat & BBQ

I found a new restaurant for Steamboat and BBQ! Gotta travel quite far to get to this place though :D

Buffet style so you can eat all you want and if am not mistaken, its less than RM 25 per head. Very reasonable.

The crab meat wasnt fantastic but it makes the soup really nice.

They have a wide variety of marinated chicken, lamb and beef.

Satay sticks, yum!

Besides the little cute steamboat pot and hot plate, we were also given this thing to "bakar" our food. Interesting eh?

The pot filled with goodies. You can choose Tom Yam or Clear soup.

My bro and sis in law enjoying the process of preparing the food and of coz whacking it hehe

Look at the crowd! Every table is occupied. I guarantee u will gain few kgs if u dine here. LOL. Here's the address to this place:-
Eighty Eight Steamboat and BBQ Restaurant
PT21437, Stall 2, Jln Tiara 1
Bandar Baru Klang

On our way back after dinner we decided to visit I-City which was not quite a good idea.
My Family..aww!

The Uma Balinese Restaurant

I was introduced to this cozy Balinese restaurant by my sister in law. Pronounced as "The Oo-meh", a Balinese word for Paddy field.

She loves trying out new restaurants. For me, i would prefer recommendations and be assured that the food is really good before giving it a try. :D

Located at 7G & 7-1, Jalan PJU 5/21, The Strand, Kota Damansara.

The interior.

Like as if you are really in Bali

My sister in law had the Pork satay set. She said it was marvelous.

My mom and brother had the chicken set. Just look at the size of the chicken!! (RM18)

My Fried Duck set. Chef's recommendation. I enjoyed every single bite. (RM20)

Truly an authentic Balinese dining experience!

Restoran Tasty Chicken Rice

My favourite chicken rice shop is the champion of the Malaysian Hainan Chicken rice competition in 2007!

Its really hard to find really good chicken rice in town and am glad this shop is just a stone throw away from home.. :)

Restoran Tasty Chicken Rice
22A-1, Jalan PJU 5/16
Dataran Sunway
Kota Damansara

The rice is fluffy and is not sticky

The roasted chicken is tasty! I especially love the skin because its so crispy!

Fresh beans sprout goes very well with the chicken rice

Ok this chicken feet dish is my favouriteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Omg... Its to die for!
I cannot understand why some people finds it disgusting! :D
I forgot to snap pic of the chilli sauce and ginger :)

Typical coffee shop ambience but u can be sure its clean.

Going Korean

I was craving for Korean food yesterday i knew i just had to call someone out to accompany me for Korean dinner! Lucky enough, Chia Li said "YES" when i invited her. Since it was a last minute invitation, the rest of the girls could not make it.

We went to Nak Won at Taman Danau Desa. I've read many good reviews of this place.

Chia Li looks abit Korean here, what say you?

BBQ Chicken. Would love to try their Beef someday.

There were 12 different type of side dishes for us and thats alot of variety. Best of all, can refill! :D

I love greens

My share of Chicken Ginseng Soup.

Kimchi Soup with glass noodles

Chicken grilled to perfection.Yum yum!

Some kind of steam egg

And a very satisfied me after dinner :D Came out of the restaurant smelling very awful though.
